Performance metrics available in Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware
Control are obtained through a JRF layer component known as the
Dynamic
Monitoring Service (DMS)
. The DMS component registers a runtime MBean
with each managed server's runtime MBean, collects a set of metrics for each
composite running on its host server, and periodically feeds the collected inform-
ation back to the DMS collection MBean on the AdminServer. The snapshot of
metrics are thus collected and stored within the AdminServer's memory.
