There is one very unconventional yet highly flexible way of creating and referencing ranges,
and that is through the assignment of a custom name for a contiguous range of cells. In the top
left corner of the Excel Worksheet environment there is a textbox that displays the name (or location)
of the currently active cell. For example, if the top left cell is selected, by default “A1” will be
