tasks utilizing VBA code: (1) Extract and place information anywhere within a Worksheet/Work-
book pair in the Excel environment. (2) Load, save, and manipulate files and acquire file information
within the Excel environment. (3) Perform basic manipulations on data within Worksheets such as
sorting, copying, and deleting data. (4) Preparing very basic reports. The next few chapters will
focus on allowing the reader to perform more complex analyses utilizing custom functions from
both within Excel and utilizing third-party calculation tools.
