Our Window to the World
Isn't this saying becoming more literal day by day?! Nowadays we can sit in the comfort of
our homes and talk for hours with our friends on the other side of the world through our
chat windows. Sometimes a friendship of a lifetime might have started by a simple hello
through some chat window. Some of us even might have even found their soul mates
through this magical window. It really does deserve to be called our window to the world.
Just as our perspectives of the world differs from one person to another, so does our chat
windows.
Here are some common ways of displaying chat windows, as chatters see fit, and the differ-
ent personalities and sub conscious behaviors that are behind it.
A solo window:
Whenever someone chats with a solo window and with only one person at a time, despite
having many friends online to talk with, he chooses to start a new conversation only with
you; indicates someone who dislikes mixing tasks, and prefers to finish one task before
starting another one.
This behavior is also an indication of how important you are to that person at that very mo-
ment, and this importance increases with the size of the window he chooses to display on
his screen. So if you are on a full screen window chatting with him, then you are at that
moment his world and he wants to grasp every word you say and emotion you send.
Multi windows:
This is a direct indication of a social hob, a person who enjoys being with many friends in
real life as much as he enjoys chatting with different people on his chatting list.
This person is often out going and friendly, and he might as well often be the one who
starts hiing you. He is a person with a multi tasking ability.
