Mirroring your Other Self
Have you ever had a best friend for so long that when someone see you both, they say that
you look like twins? That you are the same in your looks, moves, and even your voices?
The question might be which came first, your love for each other and then you started look-
ing alike, or did you look alike and that's why the friendship between you started?
There is something called the Law of Attraction, which basically states that you will attract
the type of energy that you give off, that when you think in positive terms, you will attract
positive energy in return. This applies to relationships too. So when you like someone they
will like you in return and when you hate someone they will hate you back. Whatever
thoughts and feelings you have for someone, they will reflect the same feelings and
thoughts back to you. It is a very important key in this life, one that can and will unlock the
great doors of opportunities for you.
You look into the mirror and it looks back at you, you move your hand and your reflection
moves its hand too, you smile at the mirror and your reflection smiles back at you, you spit
on it .. no need to tell you what will happen.
Now imagine life as it is a big mirror that can reflect not only your image but your inner
self, thoughts and believes. What would you like to see in the reflection?
That which you would like to see in your reflection will have to be in you first. You will
have to create it if you don't have it in you now and once you can see it clearly in yourself
and in your mind, only then you will be able to see it in your reflection, in the world… the
real life mirror.
From this perspective, we see practitioners of NLP and all schools of self-improvement
fiercely encourage you to watch over your inner thoughts, in order to create a better world
for yourself , a world where you see your dreams comes true and be able to achieve the
best in life.
The mirroring concept is a vast and powerful principle of life as it creates the necessary
harmony that makes life go easier, smoother and influences all relationship.
