Color of my Heart
When we were kids we used to have a bunch of colorful pens that we would color our
homework with. On our copybooks and papers we would choose a certain pen to write our
parents name and different pen to write our homework with. If you looked back you would
discover that you used a color that best expresses your true feelings even though you might
have been oblivious of why you picked that color instead of another to write that name or
that line.
Our subconscious was responsible of our actions more than our conscious mind at that
time.
As we grew up day by day, our conscious minds started to become more in control of our
actions while our subconscious took a back seat and played its roll from behind the scenes.
We started to dress the way that we saw fit, we talked the way that we thought best to ad-
dress older people, wrote in a black or navy blue pen to show people we are grown ups and
we are ready to take responsibility of our actions.
All of a sudden we find ourselves writing with keyboards instead of paper and pens and
guess what the default color is? Yes its black or navy blue, but why? Why can it not be tur-
quoise for instance? Why not green?
It is because colors affect people and they are chosen because of human psychology. The
psychology behind the choice of color do not change, no matter what the medium that you
are writing with.
But let's be fare because we still can choose our favorite color from the paint box in our
chatting window and it is totally up to you to write with whatever color that fits our image
and personal profile that is exhibited to our people.
