In-Depth Information
The Line Up: Well cooked food and drinks, close to the sea wall at St Ouen's. The only
seating is outside, so this is ideal for days when the weather is better.
The Old Station Café: On the front of St Aubin's Bay this is a convenient stopping place
at Millbrook, particularly as it is adjacent to cycle track, which follows the edge of the bay.
As its name suggests this is a converted railway station from the railway line, which used
to run towards Corbiere. Sitting inside the café it is very easy to imagine the building as it
was in its heyday as a station. There is a large outside seating area, ideal for breakfasts on
warm summer mornings.

Wayside: With great views across St Brelade's Bay, from both inside and from the large
outside terrace, this is a delightful place to eat at any time of the day. Most evenings it is
open late.

Early morning at the Wayside, waiting for another busy day to start.
The number of eating establishments described above is very extensive; offering something
for all tastes and budgets. When in Jersey most people have a number of favourite places,
which they are happy to return to on a regular basis but there is so much variety that it is
important to experiment.
During the autumn a large number of restaurants and bars join in the annual Tennerfest
festival. Initially the menus were £10 but over the years they have gradually crept but it is
still a great excuse to get out and enjoy some excellent food at great prices.
