In-Depth Information
When viewed from the air the impression of Jersey is largely an island of green, surroun-
ded by a deep blue sea.
Why not spend the morning surfing, coasteering or kayaking, followed by an afternoon vis-
it to a museum or some other historical site and then in the evening eat at one of the many
excellent restaurants, which are appearing in ever increasing numbers in Jersey. As regards
accommodation there is the complete range, from campsites to top of the range hotel lux-
ury, with plenty in between. Why not consider staying in a yurt, luxury camping with a
delightful twist?
What makes Jersey unique in many ways is how easy it is to participate in such a wide vari-
ety of activities with relative ease, but if the thrill of outdoor activities fails to appeal then
there is a rich historical landscape stretching back thousands of years, which is waiting to
be explored. In fact there are a number of historical sites, which rival any found elsewhere
in Europe.
Jersey is easily accessible from many of the major population centres in a relatively short
period of time. It is possible to spend the day in the office in the City of London but be
drinking your first pint, in one of the many local pubs just after 8.00 pm. Or at the end of
the weekend it's possible to have a whole day of activities on the Sunday but have your
evening meal back at home in the Midlands.
