In-Depth Information
Hotels: There is obviously a wide range of hotels in Jersey, with options to suit all wallets.
Although the number of hotels on the Island has declined in recent years many of the re-
maining hotels have invested heavily to bring the standard of accommodation and facilities
up to international standard.
Probably the biggest decision that you will have to make regarding accommodation is to
whether to stay in St Helier, or elsewhere on the Island. If visiting with children then I
would recommend looking for somewhere outside of the town to stay but other groups may
well like the convenience of St Helier, particularly if evening entertainment is quite high
on your list of priorities.
St Helier: The majority of hotel accommodation on the Island is now concentrated in St
Helier, with a number of companies having invested heavily in recent years to ensure that
the quality of the establishments has been maintained.
