Faldouet Dolmen or Le Pouquelaye de Faldouet is one of the finest dolmens or passage
graves on the Island. A 5 metre long passage leads to a circular burial chamber covered
by a great capstone. Located on the hillside above Anne Port this is one site well worth
searching out.
Mont Orgueil Castle towers above the delightful village of Gorey and is possibly the finest
castle on the island. Open daily during the summer months opening times are restricted
during the winter months. There is plenty to see as you wander around the castle but the
views from the top are as spectacular as anywhere on Jersey. The views over to the Nor-
mandy coast are truly memorable.
St Catherine's Breakwater is a great place for a walk, particularly on a cold winters day,
followed by a warm drink in the friendly café. St Catherine's is a focus for a range of activ-
ities, kayaking, fishing, sailing, bird watching, long distance swimming etc.
