This has turned into a major food festival, which is eagerly awaited by res-
idents of both Jersey and Guernsey. Eating establishments of all grades on both Islands
offer significant savings on meals during October. Many restaurants and pubs lay on spe-
cial Tennerfest Menus, which has resulted in many people eating out on a regular basis
throughout the month.
Although many menus have increased in price beyond the original £10 there are still many
bargains to be had. It has become some popular that at many of the restaurants and pubs it
is necessary to book even in mid-week.
