There are also some farm shops in a variety of parishes, for example Manor Farm in St
Peter's Village and Rondel's Farm Shop in Trinity.
Traditional roadside stalls can still be seen in various locations around the Island. They
operate on an honesty box system.
Taxis: Taxi ranks can be found outside the arrivals buildings at the airport and the Elizabeth
Terminal. In St Helier there are taxi ranks at the Weighbridge, Snow Hill and Library
Place.
In addition it is possible to book a cab and there are a number of firms located throughout
the island. Although companies of this nature are likely to come and go, the following are
a selection of those that are operating on the island in the summer of 2013.

Telephones: There are 3 mobile phone providers in Jersey, they are Jersey Telecom, Sure
and Airtel-Vodafone. As is the case when visiting anywhere different, ensure that the
roaming is switched off on your mobile or you may incur significant charges.
There are one or two places, particularly around the north east of the Island where the mo-
bile coverage isn't totally complete and you may suddenly find yourself linked to a French
telephone operator, which can catch some people out and lead to some unwelcome fees.
