The generic chemical structures of six common phthalates are shown in
Figure 7.5 and listed in Table 7.5 . Of these, di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate
(DEHP) is the most commonly used and perhaps the most extensively
studied member of the class (Matsumoto et al., 2002).
