What's a Platform?
The physical electronic systems
used to play video games are
known as platforms . The term
describes the electronic or
computer hardware that runs
the software that allows a video
game to operate. A platform
may be anything from a large
mainframe computer to a small
handheld device. The platform
may also be called a system .
