The vulnerability of the estuarine environment is thus an
established fact but, in retrospect, one can question the
resilience of this littoral ecosystem which is almost always

rebuilt but at the cost of renewed shocks. Future studies will
have to also reflect, as well as the questions of vulnerabilities,
understanding of the mechanisms of rebuilding the estuary.
