In-Depth Information
on April 11, 2013. The questionnaire explored motivations and concerns about
adopting cloud services as well as issues encountered in using cloud computing. A
total of thirty-four questions were asked, with specific questions included to identify
organizational-level understanding of cloud computing as opposed to individual
impressions. Both closed and open-ended question types were used, which provided
an opportunity for respondents to elaborate on their experiences. The online survey
was available for approximately one month and 353 responses were collected. The
completion rate was fifty percent. The majority of study respondents are located in
North America; however, fifty-two countries are represented overall.
