Research Styles and Routine Techniques
Student use different research styles -that is, practices, techniques, and approaches- to
prepare research papers. Fig. 7 shows the practices and approaches used by
respondents when preparing research papers, ranked by frequency of use from most to
least. Most of the respondents used routines and techniques at the writing stage, such
as developing an outline for guidance (71%) and creating a thesis statement (48%),
