One of the most important provisions from the user's perspective—the main
reason for going to the cloud—is that a user can store, then access their content. If the
user can either be subject to denial of access through termination or suspension or
have their content removed from the service the concept of “in the cloud” becomes
less useful. Yet this is precisely what all four cloud TOS indicate can happen.
Removal of content is discussed below when it reflects a response to claims of
infringing content. But loss of content can be also result when the user is terminated
or their use suspended. Suffice it to say that cloud providers have broad discretion to
terminate a user. All TOS examined also have the right to suspend access as well.
