Important Tips
Pack enough batteries for cameras, mobile phones, etc., and keep them charged throughout
the trip. India is a feat of colorful sights.
Internet and Wi-Fi is found throughout India.
Put cameras inside plastic bags to protect from road dust in the desert area.
Pack an extrapairofglasses . ex-Marine forgot his on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek in
Nepal. First, one earpiece broke off, followed by the other earpiece the next day. Unable to
see without his glasses, we DUCTTAPED the earpieces on each day.
Ducttape . Duct tape can be your best friend in an emergency. It will hold boots together
(seriously, been there, done that...), and patch anything. There are non-ending uses for duct
tape and you'll make the locals happy by leaving the roll behind.
Bring your favorite snacks/munchies with from home or buy along the road to eat on long
car journeys, when you arrival someplace at an unexpected, ungodly hour.
Don't forget earplugs. I never leave home without them.
