T 13 99770 6421. A restaurant by day ( moqueca for two is

Registro
If travelling south to Paraná, you'll have to change buses in REGISTRO , a bustling and
rather ugly town an hour inland from both Iguape and Cananéia in the heart of Brazil's
main tea-growing region. Registro's once overwhelmingly Japanese character has been
greatly diluted in recent years by the arrival of migrants from other parts of the state
and with a gradual exodus of young people of Japanese descent drawn to greater
opportunities elsewhere.
