Falls Day Use Area, platformed viewpoints overlook the Youghiogheny as it spills over a
series of massive sandstone ledges. The park also has numerous trails offering opportun-
ities to explore its hushed forests and rhododendron thickets. Be on the lookout for wild-
flowers: Ohiopyle boasts such beauties as trailing arbutus, clintonia, false Solomon's seal,
and the cloaked flowers of monkshood, among many others.
