• Lobsters come in all sorts of colors, including blue-green, blue, red,
yellow, red-orange, and white.
• It takes a lobster about seven years to get to an edible size.
• A lobster's shell can't grow, so it must molt and form a new shell as
it gets bigger and older. Molting occurs about once a year in an adult
lobster and is a vulnerable time in which the lobster retreats to a hiding
spot.
• Lobsters are capable of living more than 100 years.
