East Texas Ramble
Sun and surf at the Texas shore mark the start of this drive, which then heads
northward to wooded wilds, saltwater marshes teeming with birds, sprawling
lakes, andhistoric towns.Fromagrandopera housetogators, wild orchids towa-
tery wilderness, variety is a hallmark of this tour.

Nearby attractions: Nacogdoches, one of the state's oldest towns, with historic sites
