Special Lodging: Restored 1923 Coast Guard Lifeboat Station Crews Quarters offers
five guest rooms at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point.
Not to be missed: If you are anywhere near the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day, join
the crowd of 40,000 who hike the span between St. Ignace and Mackinaw City.
