Rocky Mountain Ramble
Spanning America's rooftop, the drive traverses a northern Colorado landscape
once trod only by hooves, paws, Indian moccasins, and trappers' boots. One sec-
tion of the drive is on the highest continuous auto road in the country.

When to go:
Trail Ridge Road is open May to October, weather permitting; other roads
are open year-round.

No fuel or indoor overnight accommodations are available in the
park.
