The standards that provide the procedures on boundary conditions com-
prise external climatic conditions, indoor environment conditions (thermal
and visual comfort, indoor air quality etc.), standard operating assumptions
(occupation) and national legal restrictions.
7.2 Energy-Efficient Buildings
7.2.1 Energy Declaration of Buildings
The primary use of energy declarations is
1. To create consciousness of energy efficiency in buildings and also
improve the knowledge of energy use in buildings
2. To determine if a building works as well as possible with regard to
its technical design
