Sworders' saleroom
This groundbreaking saleroom was designed and built in 2008 by amazonails in partnership with Melville Dunbar Associates
and Collins and Beckett for Sworders Ltd, fine-art auctioneers of Stansted Mountfitchet. A compressive frame design, it is the
largest strawbale building in the UK, at 1,100m². It won the East of England Sustainability Award and a Commendation in the
International Awards from the RICS in 2009.
