Retired Jobs
: The jobs submitted to the Hadoop cluster stay in memory on suc-
cessful completion. They are automatically written to the disk after a certain con-
figured period of time. This configuration
(
mapred.jobtracker.retirejob.interval
) is set in the
mapred-
site.xml
file.

Local Logs
: This section provides hyperlinks to the log directory and the job-
tracker history for all the jobs on the cluster. The log directory consists of logs re-
lated to the jobtracker as well as tasktracker.
