Seaside Clubbing
Odesa's nightlife comes a close second to the capital's, with bars, clubs and music ven-
ues to suit every taste and hairstyle. The blingy beachside megaclubs attract the glitterati
for nights of see-and-be-seen clubbing, but the city centre hides more low-key spots for
an alternative crowd.
Black Sea Fun
The Black Sea's sand-fringed shores attract once-a-year holidaymakers from across the
former USSR, who tan until crisp before wallowing in the tepid waters. Not the cleanest
beaches in the world, but the further out of the city you go, the better they get.
Ukrainian Safari
Southern Ukraine is a magnet for wildlife spotters with two unique areas teeming with
winged and hooved critters. Go on safari around the Askaniya Nova Reserve, where
zebra, camels and Przewalski horses roam free, or venture into the Danube Delta.
