The entire city seems to be for rent in summer. Apartments come in all shapes, from four
walls and a bed for 200uah to fully furnished multi-bedroom cottages that may cost up to
US$500 a night. Prices drop drastically in the low season - you can get a nice apartment
in the town centre for as little as 60uah in winter. The biggest concentration of holiday
houses and apartment dealers carrying signs like , or can be found at the beginning of vul
Drazhinskogo above Massandra Beach.

Instantly popular, this new hostel occupies the upper floor of a house, which be-
longed to the architect responsible for Livadia palace. Its large balconies and shady
courtyard make it a place where you want to hang out and meet people, not just sleep.
Reception staff have good info on where to eat, drink and dance your night away in
Yalta.
