Kuba-Daleko GUESTHOUSE$
( 050 391 0678, 066 731 0850; www.brynzarnya.com ; vul Pogranichnaya 2, Primorske; s/d
without bathroom 200/300uah) A fun place to stay is the brynza (goat cheese) farm, which
comes with a little museum of Lipovan Old Believers culture and a hotel, bizarrely
themed on a Soviet song about Cuba. The place is on the seaside in Primorske - other-
wise known as Vylkovo beach, 10km from town. Book well in advance.
Getting There & Away
Fast marshrutky to Vylkovo leave every two hours or so until late afternoon from Ode-
sa's Privoz bus station (67uah, three to four hours). The occasional buses that depart
from Odesa's long-distance bus station are slower, taking up to twice as long to do the
run. There are two services a day to Izmayil (20uah, two hours), from where you can
continue to Reni (one hour) on the Romanian/Moldovan border.
