Lutsk city day falls in the third week in August, around the time of Ukrainian Independ-
ence day, making this a great time to be in town.
Artjazz Festival

Organised by the Lutsk Jazz Club in mid-September, this is one of
Ukraine's best jazz festivals and takes place at Lutsk Castle and in the city of Rivne.

storks' may have a bit of an awkward location 1.5km south of the bus and train stations
next to a busy road, but this well-designed 'recreation complex' is staffed by friendly and
helpful Lutskites, and rooms are fresh and clean. Rates include breakfast.
