Getting Around
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
Catching a Skybus is the usual way to Boryspil International Airport (40uah, 45 minutes
to one hour). Buses depart from behind Kyiv train station's South Terminal every 15
minutes during the day and half-hourly during the night.
One way to save considerable time on the way to the airport during rush hour is to take
the metro to Kharkivska metro station. Skybus stops under the bridge to collect passen-
gers. The same trick works leaving the airport, as all buses stop at Kharkivska metro on
their way to the train station.
Taxis into town from the airport cost around 300uah if arranged at the airport taxi
desk. Use that price as a benchmark for negotiating with the myriad freelance drivers,
which you can bargain down to 200uah. For travelling to the airport from the city it's bet-
ter to order a taxi by phone.
For Zhulyany airport, take trolleybus 22 from Shulyavska or Dorohozhychi metro sta-
tions.
