Influence of Adsorbent Amount
When the amount of the adsorbent was increased from 1 to 3 g/L (fluoride 1.5 mg/L
and arsenite is 100 ʼg/L), the amount adsorbed per unit mass of the adsorbent
decreased (Fig. 4 ) in both the cases. This may be due to two reasons: (i) a large
adsorbent amount reduces the unsaturation of the adsorption sites and,
