Aquatic habitat includes all of the physical, chemical and biological features of
the environment needed to sustain life. Examples include suitable water quality and
habitat-migration routes, spawning grounds for fishes, feeding and resting sites and
shelter from predators and adverse environment conditions (Orth and White 1993 ),
phytoplankton's, zoo-plankton's and other biotic components. Therefore habitat
quality influences the numbers, sizes and species of aquatic eco-system that can be
