command under File Tethered Capture Hide Tethered Capture
Window or the keyboard shortcut.

at the right to close the controls and i nish the session, or use the Stop
Tethered Shooting menu command (see Figure 2-32).

Asset management for digital photographers

h e systems you use for your photo library should be thoughtfully planned,
implemented and maintainted. Independent from any sot ware you may choose
to process your photos, your image i les must remain intact, accessible and secure
now and in the future. You and your heirs must be able to manage your digital
photographs quickly and easily for decades to come, underscoring the need for
reliable systems for storing your photo i les. It's essential that you plan out your
storage system carefully, accounting for your current needs and budget along with a
plan for growth.
Single-user environment
If you're the only one working with your image i les your storage system can be
very simple with few components. You can use internal or external hard disks
