Example export scenarios
Bearing in mind the unlimited possibilities for handling your photos outside of
Lightroom, I've put together the following few workl ows based on some of the
most common uses for exporting.
If, at this point, you're still unsure of how this whole exporting business i ts
into your particular workl ow, I strongly suggest that you perform lots and lots
of exports, even just for practice, so you get a handle on the settings. You can
export i les to your heart's content into a special folder from which you simply
delete the derivative i les every so ot en.
h ere is no inherent risk in exporting any original i le an ini nite number of
times. Sometimes the best way to master a process is to play with it for a while.
Just be careful that your exported i les are stored and handled with the most
possible ei ciency.
