Sync whie balance
One very useful application of Sync Settings is adjusting white balance. To
accurately set white balance for a batch of photos, begin a photo shoot by
making an initial capture containing a target reference, such as the X-Rite
Passport. In Lightroom, use the reference shot to set the white balance with
the eyedropper. h en simply use Sync Settings on the rest of the i les to
match the white balance from the reference image.

However, when you copy settings, they remain in memory and thus could
be pasted to other photos later. A sync
operation does not store the synced
settings anywhere.

With multiple photos selected, this
command (under the Settings menu)
applies a relative Exposure setting from
the active photo to the other selected
photos. (Only the Exposure adjustment
is applied.)
