Summary
In this chapter, you've learned about the different components of a CSS rule set, you've been
introducedtothedifferentwaystoselectelementsviaCSS,andyou'vehadaglimpseofsome
relevant concepts with regards to the cascade and specificity.
I've also introduced the sample project, and we've put together a base CSS file that is pre-
ceded by a set of styles that normalizes some browser differences.
In the next chapter, we'll start putting together the structural foundation for the RecipeFinder
website and, in the process, you'll learn about CSS-based layouts.
