When you're ready to start recording, follow these steps:
1.
In the control box, click Record .
2.
Begin to perform the actions you want to record. If auto capture is
on, Captivate will automatically capture the screen (and play a
camera shutter sound) whenever you:
Click the mouse
Change focus from one window to another
Press any key on the keyboard
Click the mouse while it is in the recording area
While you're recording, Captivate will also automatically insert the
following components (based on your option settings):
Click boxes—These are areas that the viewer will click in dur-
ing playback.
Highlight boxes—These are areas of particular interest that
are highlighted.
Captions—Text instructions, such as “Click here.”
Pointer movement—The mouse movement itself is not cap-
tured unless you are recording in Full Motion mode. Most of
