to close the Prefer-
ences window.

8. When you are done, click
Publish
to display the Adobe Connect
login screen.
9. Sign in to Adobe Connect using your login name and password.
10. Select a location on the server to store the Captivate movie.
11. Click
Publish to This Folder
to display the available options.
12. Type a title for the movie, choose a language, and enter a speaker
name. When you are finished, click
Next
.
13. When the movie has been published to the server, a confirmation
dialog displays. Click
OK
to close the confirmation dialog.
Publishing Projects as Stand-alone (EXE) Files
A stand-alone file is an executable file that does not require a browser
for viewing. The Flash movie file is embedded in the executable file.
To generate a stand-alone movie file, follow these steps:
1.
Click the Publish icon or select
Publish
from the File menu to dis-
play the Publish window.

Click the
Standalone
icon to display the executable options.
