The current background color is displayed in the Project back-
ground color box. The default is white. Click on the color box to
display a set of predefined colors. You can also click on the down
arrow to display the Color window.

Select the color you want for the background in any of the follow-
ing ways:
Click on a color in the Basic colors grid.
Type the Hue, Saturation, and Luminosity values in the appro-
priate boxes.
Type the Red, Green, and Blue values in the appropriate
boxes.
Click anywhere on the color chart on the right side of the
window.
Use the arrow keys to move the color selection indicator.
Slide the arrow on the far right of the window up or down to
increase or decrease the intensity of the current color.

Click OK to close the Color window.
6.
Click OK to close the Preferences window.
