For Flash movie links only , select the Save file with project
check box if you want to include the entire movie with the menu
when you export it. If this check box is not selected, you'll have to
ensure that the viewer has the same access to the files and that
they are in the same location as the information you enter here.
6.
In the Tooltip box, type the text that will display when the viewer
rolls the mouse over the link.
7.
For URL or HTML links only , you may click the Advanced Set-
tings button to set display options for the browser window that
contains the link.
8.
For URL or HTML links only , in the Advanced Settings window,
choose whether you want to open the specified link in the same
window that the menu is in, in a new window using the viewer's
system defaults, or in a window that you've defined. If you choose
to define the window, check the features you want to display or
allow. When you're done defining the window, click OK to close
the Advanced Settings window and return to the New image
window.
9.
You can set the background of the image to be transparent by
selecting the Transparent background check box.
Tip:
All portions of the image that have the same color levels as the
pixel in the lower-left corner of the image will be set to transparent.
They will not show up on the menu slide, and anything behind the
pixels of that color will show through.
Note: Be careful to check your images after you import them, par-
ticularly if you use a transparent background. Captivate will make all
areas the color of the background transparent. For example, if you
have an image of a black circle with white lettering and a white
background, and you make the white background transparent, then
Captivate will make all white portions of the image transparent
(including the letters). If this isn't the look you wanted, use a graphics
program to make the background or the letters slightly different
shades of white.
10. You can set a transparency level for the entire image by entering a
number in the Transparency % box. The higher the transparency
setting, the fainter the image will appear.
