Combining Movies with MenuBuilder
The MenuBuilder tool makes it easy to create a special slide that dis-
plays a list of several Captivate movies from which the viewer can
choose. You can then export the MenuBuilder project to create a Flash
movie that combines the menu slide and the associated movies into a
single file. You have a lot of control over the MenuBuilder output. For
example, you can include menu items that point to other types of out-
put, such as web pages or other files. You can specify whether or not
MenuBuilder should include the associated movies in the output file or
just point to them. And you have a variety of output formats and
options for each. For example, if you're delivering your movies on a
CD or DVD, you can create an executable file (.exe) and specify that
the menu display automatically when the viewers put the disc into
their computers.
Valid output formats for MenuBuilder are:
Adobe Flash (.swf)
Executable file (.exe)
HTML file (.htm)
Word document (.doc)
Macintosh file (.hqx)
There are four main steps to working with MenuBuilder:

Create your project by defining the slide and the items that you
want included in the menu. The easiest way to create a
MenuBuilder project is with the MenuBuilder wizard, which
guides you through the process. If you prefer, you can create a
MenuBuilder project from scratch.
2.
Make edits to the slide as needed, just as you would edit any other
Captivate slide. You can add elements, like text and click boxes,
