Note: This number is unique to your system configuration and can-
not be used with other setups. You must get a unique confirmation
number for each installation of Captivate software.

to complete the activation process and display the
registration screen.
10. Registration is an online process that requires an Internet connec-
tion. If your system does not have an Internet connection, simply
click
Remind Me Later
to close the registration screen and dis-
play the Captivate main menu.
Deactivation
Each copy of Captivate software comes with an end-user license
agreement that specifies the number of times you may install Capti-
vate. For most people, the EULA specifies that you may have up to
two installations, as long as you don't use them concurrently. For
example, you may share one license between a home machine and a
work machine, or between a desktop and a laptop PC. If for any reason
you need to change computers or significantly change your hardware
configuration, you'll need to deactivate one of your licenses so that
you'll be able to activate Captivate on the new system.
Note: As soon as you deactivate your license, the software will stop
working but will remain on your system. You may reactivate the soft-
ware as long as you do not exceed the limit of active copies specified
in your EULA.
