7.
Type the questions, exactly as you want them to display, in the
Questions box. You can include text, numbers, and special charac-
ters including punctuation, and you may include instructions if
necessary. You can click Add to add a new entry with default text,
or simply click in the row to enter text. You can use up and down
arrow buttons to the right of each list to move the entries within
each list, or click the Delete button as necessary to remove
entries.
Tip:
You can click in each row or you can use the up and down
arrow keys on your keyboard to move from one answer to the next
within the Answers area.
8. Define the way you want your scale to look in the Answers area.
You can modify the existing text by double-clicking on it and typ-
ing new text, or you can delete text with the Delete button. To add
more answer types, click Add and type new text.
9. Click the check box next to each column label that you want to dis-
play on the slide. Note that you don't have to display all the labels.
10. You may set options for this question as described in a later sec-
tion in this chapter, or you can leave the default settings so that all
your questions will act the same way.
11. You may set reporting options for this question as described later
in this chapter.
12. Click OK when you are done to display the new question slide.
