In-Depth Information
7.
If you specified a graded question, you can enter a number in the
Points box to indicate the value or weight of the question within
the context of the quiz. If you specified a survey question, this box
is not available.
8.
Type each answer into a row in the Answers area. You must enter
at least two answers, but you can enter as many as you need. You
must enter them in the correct order—Captivate will scramble
them at run time. Highlight an answer and click the Move Up or
Move Down button to rearrange the answers as needed. You can
also delete answers by highlighting the answer and clicking the
Delete button or pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.
Tip: You can click in each row or you can use the up and down
arrow keys to move from one answer to the next within the Answers
area.
9. From the Style box, specify how you want the viewer to choose
the correct sequence, either by dragging and dropping the answers
or by choosing a different option from the drop-down list.
10. From the Numbering box, choose whether you want the answers
to be listed as uppercase letters, lowercase letters, or numbers.
The choice you make will be reflected in the answers that are cur-
rently displayed in the Answers area.
11. You may set options for this question as described in a later sec-
tion in this chapter, or you can leave the default settings so that all
your questions will act the same way.
12. You may set reporting options for this question as described later
in this chapter.
13. Click OK when you are done to display the new question slide.
Note that within the Captivate project, the slide displays the
answers in the correct order. However, when you preview or run
the movie, the appearance will vary depending on whether you
chose Drag Drop or a different option from the Style list in step 9.
