In-Depth Information
7.
If you specified a graded question, you can enter a number in the
Points box to indicate the value or weight of the question within
the context of the quiz. If you specified a survey question, this box
is not available.
8.
If you chose a graded question, click Add and enter the correct
answers in the box. If you initially chose a survey question, the
viewer's text will not be marked correct or incorrect, but it will be
stored as an answer and output in the same way as other questions
in the quiz. You must have reporting functions (described later in
this chapter) turned on in order to store any answer.
9.
If you want to specify a correct answer, you can type an answer
into each of the rows in the answer list area. The viewer will have
to type the exact string in order for the answer to be considered
correct. Each row represents a separate and equally “correct”
answer. Note that you can type more than the displayed length—
the characters will scroll within each row.
Tip: You can click in each row or you can use the up and down
arrow keys on your keyboard to move from one answer to the next
within the answer list area.
10. Choose whether you want to require the viewer to enter the exact
short answer, including all upper- and lowercase letters, by select-
ing or deselecting the check box labeled The answer is
case-sensitive .
11. You may set options for this question as described in a later sec-
tion in this chapter, or you can leave the default settings so that all
your questions will act the same way.
12. You may set reporting options for this question as described later
in this chapter.
13. Click OK when you are done to display the new question slide.
