If you selected Snap to grid, any element you move will automatically
be placed along the grid. If you don't have Snap to grid turned on, you
can still use the grid as a guideline for alignment.

When you're finished moving things around, from the View menu,
choose Show grid again to remove the check mark and turn off
the grid.
Resizing Elements
Each element you add to a slide starts out with a default size. Capti-
vate creates text captions so that they're just big enough to fit the text
you enter. It imports animations and images at their original size, and
bases the size of text animations on the font size and type of anima-
tion. You can change the size of any element using the handles on the
corners and sides of the selected objects.
There are three ways to change the size of Captivate elements:
Dragging the handles works just like it does in other applications.
This is the quickest way to change a single element.
