Placing Elements with the Grid
For more precise placement of elements on a slide, you can display a
grid in Edit view and specify the distance between both horizontal and
vertical grid points. You can then either manually place elements on
the grid, or you can have Captivate automatically place the elements
along the lines formed by the grid points.
Note: The grid is a tool for placement of elements like captions,
animations, and images. It will not display in the finished movie.
To use the grid for placing elements, follow these steps:
1.
In Edit view, from the View menu, choose Show Grid . A grid
composed of dots displays on the slide.
